This isn’t my usual blog.
Something has been moving through me that I don’t fully understand… and it led me to write a poem.
The inspiration came from a prompt by Suleika Jaouad, author of the beautiful memoir Between Two Kingdoms, that she put in her Substack.
The prompt was about looking at something you don’t understand from a perspective of what it isn’t.
This prompt led me to writing the poem below.
This got me curious about you.
What is something in your life right now that you don’t fully understand?
Take a few minutes and journal about what you are not understanding.
Ask yourself. “What don’t I fully understand? What is it not?”
What new insights did this exploration bring?
How are you feeling differently about your confusion now?
