Meet Your Host: Laurie Swanson, Career Wayfinder Coach
Laurie began her journey studying business and information technology at the University of Texas (Hook ’em Horns!). She launched her career as a software engineer but soon transitioned into technology recruiting and software sales, where she flourished.
In 1995, Laurie founded The Laso Corporation, transforming it into a multi-million-dollar boutique IT search firm.
In 2018, after her 2 kids were on their way to college, Laurie did some reflection, and knew she was ready for different. Leveraging her years in recruiting with her passion for helping women successfully navigate a career change, Laurie got certified as a coach, founded InspiHER Tech, and began doing private one-on-one coaching for women connected to tech.
In 2024, the doors to the Career Alchemy Academy opened. Career Alchemy Academy is Laurie’s 3-year dream come to life. A membership community for women connected to tech who are preparing for a career transition, on a job search, or at a career crossroads and finding their way forward … and they do not want to do it alone.
Using practical and strategic career tools and adding in Spirit-centered intuitive practices, Laurie works with her clients to create a practical career plan by tapping into their inner wisdom, connecting with their body genius, managing their thoughts, regulating their emotions, and building their self-belief all leading to greater energy, fulfillment, and success in their careers and lives.
