About the Assurance/Audit Manager Position:

You will be responsible for managing Assurance engagements. This position will be an active role model and leader for staff to emulate, and you will be responsible to meet billable hours requirement.

About the Assurance/Audit Manager Responsibilities:

• Review reports and financial statements

• Manage risk and ensure quality control procedures are being executed
• Coordinate various planning phases of engagements and ensure work is on schedule
• Review and evaluate work papers and determine compliance with professional standards and firm policy
• Assume the role of Ambassador in networking and business-development activities
• Effectively manage employee and client expectations

About the Assurance/Audit Manager Requirements:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting
• Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) / Tax law knowledge
• Thorough understanding of complex technical accounting issues
• Must be a licensed CPA
• BBA/BS/MS in Accounting is required
