    About the Team Lead-Storage Infrastructure Position:

    As a team leader you will design and implement corporate storage strategy and infrastructure. Act as the go-to person, ensuring operations continuity and providing daily leadership for the Storage engineering team.

    About the Team Lead-Storage Infrastructure Responsibilities:

    • Manage the 4 existing storage engineers.
    • Collaborate with important stakeholders to assess present/future strategic storage initiatives.
    • Oversee performance, capacity, and lifecycle planning across the suite of storage products.
    • Architect business case documents to justify purchases of hardware/software/support.
    • Deploy and administer hardware and software-based storage solutions utilizing a variety of third-party and open-source products.
    • Oversee storage-specific network equipment/networks and ensure data integrity.
    • Conduct problem resolution and root cause analysis while also implementing automation and scripting.
    • Enhance enhancing vendor relationships and researching new strategies/technologies.

    About the Team Lead-Storage Infrastructure Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining a wide variety of storage hardware & software.
    • Proven experience putting together strategy documents.
    • Proven capacity planning experience.
    • Automation/scripting experience in some capacity.
    • Experience leading a team of storage engineers in a global, fast-paced environment.
    • Someone who wants to be hands on – it will be around 60/40 hands on/management.
    • Storage-related connectivity protocols and technologies (iSCSI, NFS, Fibre Channel, SAN, NAS, DAS, block, etc.).
    • Netapp and/or EMC vendor experience is preferred.
    • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and associated storage management/tiering (S3, Glacier, Azure Blob) a plus.
    • Proven experience using scripting or automation technologies (i.e. PowerShell or Python).
    • Experience with a variety of backup vendors (NetBackup, Veeam, Rubrik, etc.)
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues while making sensible decisions in times of stress.
    • Must be open to being a part of a 24x7 support team with on-call rotation.
