    TITLE:   DIRECTOR – IT VENDOR MANAGEMENT

    JOB ID:  10870

    SALARY:  $160k base, 20% bonus

    STATUS:  US Citizen or Green Card Holders Only - 100% remote

    About the Client:

    Our client is a leading Insurance brokerage firm that provides employee benefits, along with business, and personal insurance products and services.

    About the Director – IT Vendor Management Position:

    Will be responsible for developing strategies and implement best practices for managing global relationships.  Will manage provider performance, ensuring delivery of outsourced IT services.

    About the Director – IT Vendor Management Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the CIO, senior IT leadership and key internal business stakeholders to ensure outsourced IT services are meeting business needs
    • Collaborate with Technology leads, business partners, financial managers, and vendors to implement consistent operational, business, risk, and commercial processes
    • Develop processes to review and assess provider performance through regular performance evaluations
    • Participate as a core member of the IT team (Technology/BU Leadership, Finance, Legal, Procurement) to actively participate in discussions on and negotiate with outsourced IT services contract RFPs
    • Work with IT and the business partners to develop and implement action plans to mitigate business risks
    • Verify proposals and requests for service responses against contractual terms and conditions
    • Function as the lead negotiator for all amendments, contract interpretations, new services and any other issues requiring contractual resolution
    • Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities

    About the Director – IT Vendor Management Requirements:

    • 7-10 years’ experience managing complex global IT contracts and relationships
    • Experience in negotiating technology agreements for Hardware, Software, ASP/SaaS, Cloud, Hosting and Professional Services
    • Experience leading large/technically complex sourcing events and contract negotiations for Information Technology and/or Digital initiatives
    • Working knowledge of current IT technologies across a wide variety of areas
    • Demonstrated capability to bridge communications between the IT organization and its business stakeholders
    • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management
    • Contract Management Certification (IACCM/WorldCC or similar) is needed
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Legal or related discipline is required
