    About the Director/Assistant Controller Position:

    Looking for a highly talented Assistant Controller that will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting consolidations and Corporate accounting staff functions.  You will be part of the management team that is expected to deliver results under tight deadlines, and maintain focus while ensuring short-term goals are accomplished.

    About the Director/Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

    • Lead all financial reporting to ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance
    • Preparation of SEC filings. These reports will comply with SEC rules and regulations
    • Review account reconciliations and preparation of the monthly financial reports
    • Lead month-end closing process
    • Comply with GAAP and research new releases by FASB and SEC and apply as necessary
    • Coordinate the preparation of annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
    • Assist with debt financings, including analyses of proposals and proper accounting of debt transactions
    • Manage and supervise the Financial Reporting, Consolidations and Accounting teams
    • Serve as a liaison between business and auditors
    • Prepare presentations and quarterly updates for Audit Committee, VP of Finance and CFO as required

    About the Director/Assistant Controller Requirements:

    • 15+ years demonstrated accounting/financial leadership experience in a Manufacturing Industry is required
    • CPA is required
    • Experience out of top-tier public accounting firm highly desired
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
    • Knowledge of auditing practices and internal controls
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, discretionary and decision-making skills
    • Experience leading and managing teams
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
