    About the Client:

    Our client is one of the largest fabricators and distributor of metals along with their joint ventures with other large manufacturers.

    About the Controller Position:

    You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Financial and Human Resource functions of the business.  You will also support the President and entire Executive Management team with regard to Finance/Accounting and Human Resource concerns.

    About the Controller Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with the President providing financial opportunities for growth including net income generation and internal expense controls
    • Interface with funding institutions to ensure adequate capital is available to fund the liquidity and investment needs of the business
    • Recommend improvements in the capital structure of the Company to allow for increased capital expenditures to meet the growing needs of the business
    • Oversee monthly/YTD financial statement generation of net income, balance sheet status, cash flow analysis and projections on the status of EOY goals regarding revenue increases and expense controls
    • Develop, review, and track overall employee training needs
    • Review and recommend opportunities associated with general liability and employee health insurance to increase coverage and reduce premiums as appropriate
    • Process weekly payroll for all employees, as well as commission payments for the outside Sales organizations
    • Perform plan administration functions, i.e. new enrollments, changes, loans, and other miscellaneous items
    • Annually review 401K plans with President

    About the Controller Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting that includes leadership responsibility
    • Prior Human Resource experience is required
    • Advanced PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint is needed
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are a must
    • College Degree (B.S. or B.A), or equivalent experience
